grit. fortitude. boldness.

If there’s one word that describes the people who lead nonprofits and mission-based organizations, it’s that one. You show up every day - underfunded, overstretched, wearing more hats than any job description could hold - because the work is worth it and you know it.

We built this firm for you.

our philosophy

you bring the mission. we bring the strategy.

Mission with Moxie exists because strategy shouldn’t be a luxury. Because the organizations doing the most important work in the world are often the ones with the least access to the thinking that would help them do it better, reach further, and sustain longer.

We’ve been in your shoes - inside nonprofits, on shoestring budgets, with ideas that outpaced resources and a to-do list that never got shorter. We know what it feels like to hit a wall and show up anyway. That experience is not incidental to what we do. It’s the foundation of it.

Strategy at Moxie isn’t something we deliver to you. It’s something we build with you - grounded in your mission, shaped by your context, and designed to move without slowing you down.

our values

Lavender background with white handwritten text that says 'partnership > prescription' and decorative white strokes in the corners.

We don’t treat purpose and profit as opposing forces. Without resources, even the best mission stalls. Without purpose, resources cause more harm than good. The organizations that thrive long-term hold both - and so do we.

We don’t show up with answers before we’ve heard the questions. Every organization has a unique context, culture, and set of constraints. We build strategy from the inside out - alongside you, not above you.

The best strategic breakthroughs rarely happen in a boardroom. We use play intentionally - to surface insight, break assumptions, and unlock the kind of creative thinking that rigorous analysis alone can’t reach. From that space, we build strategies worth running with.

who’s behind moxie

hi. i’m tiffany.

I didn’t find nonprofit work - I grew up in it. And when it came time to choose a career, I chose it deliberately, because working for a mission is hard to give up once you know what it feels like.

Over the last decade, I’ve led brand strategy, marketing, and communications for mission-based organizations - building campaigns from nothing, rebuilding trust after an organization’s failed rebrand, developing donor strategies, and learning firsthand what works and what doesn’t when resources are tight and the stakes are real.

I went back to school for a master’s in human-computer interaction because I wanted to understand something I kept bumping into in nonprofit work: the gap between how people actually live - digitally, constantly connected - and how most mission-driven organizations were showing up in that space. That research, combined with a Prosci certification in change management, shapes how I think about every engagement: the technology side and the human side, together.

I built Moxie because I believe nonprofits deserve the same quality of strategic thinking that well-resourced organizations take for granted. Not a watered-down version. Not a generic template. Real strategy, built around your mission, delivered in a way you can actually use.

I’m with Moxie - and I’m here because this work matters.

moxie is built to grow with the organizations it serves

Right now, Moxie is a boutique firm - intentionally so. Small means we’re fully present in every engagement, not spreading attention across a client list too long to serve well. It means the strategy you get isn’t delegated to a junior associate. It’s built by someone who has done this work and believes in it.

As Moxie grows, so does the model - bring in collaborators, specialists, and partners who share the same philosophy. The mission stays the same: equip the organizations doing the most important work with the strategy they need to do it better.

That’s where we’re headed. And we’re glad you’re here for it.
